Beryl Floral Forties Deadstock Viscose
Such an unusual fabric - I've not seen anything quite like this before. Beryl is a viscose which is reminiscent of prints from the Thirties and Forties. The background is a warm rust colour with cream lines forming a diagonal check pattern. The little sprigs of blue flowers over the top are delicate and add to the vintage vibe.
The fabric is a satin weave, so the right side has a very smooth and silky texture and has a slight sheen to it. This fabric would be ideal for blouses, dresses, tops and skirts which require a bit of drape. Perhaps even pair it with a vintage pattern to go all out.
