Schmetz Universal Sewing Machine Needles

  • Suitable for home sewing machines
  • Great quality, general all-purpose needle which is suited to most fabrics.
  • It has a slightly rounded tip which means most materials can be handled without issues or damage.
  • Recommended thread: general all-purpose thread, such as Gütermann Sew-All rPet thread
  • These needles come in a pack of 10 which are handily colour-coded so you know which needle you are using (without resorting to squinting at the printed shank). There are 3 different sizes:
    • 4 x '70' - suitable for finer / lightweight fabrics
    • 4 x '80' - suitable for lightweight to mid-weight fabrics
    • 2 x '90' - suitable for lightweight to mid-weight fabrics
